Thanks to Antony Gifford's generous out-of-blue offer of his spare mast and some late night bimbling on Friday to get it to fit(why is it that all Twelve masts are different?), we're now planning to be there, though in untuned state, for Sunday.

A great turnout, 17 boats lining up for Sunday's racing made quite a spectacle on the lake.

A big thank you to all those who made the effort to travel and to all who contributed to a great weekend, with a special thank you to Graham and Zoe for the coaching session on Saturday.

Full report and results to follow shortly.

Thanks due as well to Ian and Phil for getting as many boats out as possible from Spinnaker. Wind a bit iffy and variable but made some challenging sailing. All our visitors saw how great Spinnaker is (there were 60 Oppies and about 40 Toppers out in the morning bfore our racing) and our members and lots of kids saw what an exciting fleet the 12's make. Result is more interest in joining our fleet!

Hi all,
Just a quick  (huge) thanks to those who made the event such a sucess....  Em's boat is now consideably better set up, having been breathed on by the assembled experts on Saturday.  On Sunday, she learned a great deal when the winning helm chose to race his discard as her crew!  Such a friendly and generous gesture - I wonder how many fleets could offer that level of encouragement to budding helms.
