What a job you've done - she looks stunning!

See the thread "National 12 Handicap" on this bord for yor answer. Remeber this only applies for club sailing if your club is prepared to go alomg with it. The published National 12 PY is 1093.

Enjoy that beautiful boat.

But which boat was sold? Was it the "probably proctor" or the genuine 2730?

:'(Sadly the physio fixing my back says it would be foolish for me to sail at the weekend so another week goes by....</font>
Have a great time all.

??) Sadly back trouble means I must miss this event this year - to those going have a great day, it will certianly be lively if the wind doesn't subdue a bit!

Brilliant work Jeremy - The Power of Perfection appeals to me (perhaps I have a slightly biased view on this?). I particularly like the idea of involving the "N" in the design  as that  is what is recognised  by  many more sailors  that our 12 on  a wave logo  (much as I like that too). It would be great to bring both together on the shirt.

I'll quote a previous post which could be helpful -
"Hello. Is there anyone hoping to take part in the coaching days on
29th March (Burghfield) or 5th April (Bristol) who needs crew
please?... or just anyone willing to take part so that I can get some
practise?

If so, that's great! You can contact me on 01983 562702 or email: lm@kalligraphia.com

Many thanks.

Regards, Louisa Mamakou
(Dare Barry's crew from the Isle of Wight)"

Louisa is good, keen as anyone and only just accross the water from the Hamble - she got up at some ungodly hour last year to crew for me at Pitsford.

Good luck

This member of the Spinnaker crowd will be on the other side of the world so won't be there :'(  - it should be a great day's sailing though and it would be good to get a strong showing and re-establish the class' standing at this event. Hopefully it will be well supported.

it is in deed!

Well done Meds!

Some older members may also remember Graham Pearce who was also there - representing Australia!

It looks as though I might be stuck for a crew for at least the start of the week. Any lightweights out there who may like to enjoy Salcombe's charms from the front of my boat?

There is no dress code for the dinner - smart casual seems to work though you can go for black tie if you wish.

Good luck.

Wish I could be there - hope you all have a great week.

We have camped at both Higher Rew and Alston Farm over the years - Higher Rew wins for us - it just has a nicer feel.

A couple from Spinnaker did take bikes but found the ride very hard. I would recommend driving to the park and ride.

See you at Salcombe.

Not quite, it stops you doing a full modelyacht style jib with the tack in front of the pivot and self tensioning the leech. The one in the pic is legal but just requires a bit more string...
