Here is some more on N.2191. In 1965 and 1966, when named Altair, she was owned by a Mr P. R. Hunt of Torquay. In 1967 , sailed by a Miss V.Dobson, she sailed in the National 12 race at Brixham Y.C. Regatta, which was one of the events in the Royal Torbay Regatta.
Somewhere around 2002/2003 she was bought by Chris Sewell, who had just got out of Zimbabwe in time and had settled in Lymington. By this time the name had changed to Frith. On occasions Chris sailed the boat to the Isle of Wight and back, singlehanded. In 2003 Chris bravely arranged a Vintage Twelve Open Meeting from the Lymington Town Sailing Club. Unfortunately only 4 boats turned up and there wasn't much wind but we had a pleasant series of races.
I lost touch then with the boat and Chris and a couple of years ago, she was bought by Mike Ricketts, also of the Lymington Area. Mike has now put the boat up for sale on ebay. From the photographs, she seems to be in excellent condition.

Advert says "Dinghy comes with two main sails, two jibs (one pair by Hood Sails of Lymington and the other by J.R Williams of Hamble), aluminium mast and boom, stainless shrouds, rudder, extending tiller, fitted safety buoyancy bags, storage net bags, varnished wooden paddle, toe straps, self bailers.
