The first event of the National GUL series takes place in a little under two weeks at Burghfield Sailing Club on the 23/24 March.

The weekend starts with a mornings coaching for those that wish to participate and blow the cobwebs off their boats. Coaching will have an early start so that we can squeeze in some meaningful tuition prior to racing.

The racing follows a similar format to the Inlands event at Northampton that has been run in the past, though stating a little later on the Saturday.

Saturday: Races 1&2 back to back from 2pm

Sunday: Races 3&4 back to back from 10am. Racing will be finished by lunch with prize giving after a meal, allowing for a leisurely return home!

Coaching is free, entry for the two days is £20 per entry if you pre-register using the link below and £22 if you enter on the day.

We are planning on either a meal at the club on Saturday evening or a trip to a local chinese or Indian depending on popularity. You can state your preference on the pre-entry form. camping is available onsite if the weather allows but there is also a list of local accommodation on the information event information page using the link below:

If you are planning on coming along advance entry would really help out our caterers to give an idea of numbers.....!

On the pre entry form it gives the option of indian or chinese, but we could also go to a local pub for a meal as a group, but l cant edit the form now to reflect this without losing entered data.
