The life of N2420 Go-Jo. Design: Mark 12, designed by: Ian Proctor in 1963
Original boat name: Razamataz.

At one time, May 2003, part of the ISCA Collection, International Sailing Craft Association.

I owned her from about 1994 until 1998.   She was a delight to sail and pointed impossibly well!  Such a well finished boat.  I restored her and she looked amazing.  I didn't get to sail her after restoring her and unfortunately had to let her go because of a change in personal circumstances.  I sold her very unwillingly to Andrew Thornton QC on the understanding that she would be well looked after, and so part of his personal boat collection she became and into the museum she went!  I have been trying hard to track her down and would really like to have her back....

Please contact me on 07972 258758 or andyemms1979@btinternet.com if anyone knows of her whereabouts.
Really want to get her back!

Hi Andy
I'll be down among what's left of the ISCA Collection at Oulton Broad later this week and meeting with Jamie Campbell who looks after it, so I will see if N2420 is still  there and get back to you with any information I can glean regarding her whereabouts.

I also have a Mk12 (N2255 'Purely Platonic' - see info elsewhere on this database)
Delightful boat.

Go-Jo was finished from a Chippendale kit by Dougie MacDonald and I crewed for him for a couple of years, the boat and Dougie did indeed go well winning many Northern open meetings.  When new she was featured in a Yorkshire sport promotion exhibition in Harrogate and was painted a very attractive purple-blue shade.  This was in fact a Dulux colour but seemed to wear very well anyway!

Thankyou very much for your help.  If it is still in the collection,  if you could let me know the condition and whom I need to talk to about getting her back that would be fantastic. :)
