Solway

I notice that it is a fairly early start for Solway this year which leaves quite a long afternoon to fill in before the pubs open. The local golf course which is really not much more than a pitch and put hires out golf clubs pretty cheaply. Last time i did it I think it cost me less then £10 for clubs and a round and they supply plenty of golf balls as well. Is any body interested in a game. We could maybe have and England V Scotland match or something like that! If any one is wondering about my golfing ability I expect my handicap would be something similar to my PY8)

Sorry Angus, can't make it either, having to ration my weekends !  
Am also busy training cadet crews for our open meeting at Castle Semple for those who might be crewless ( sorry, almost said clueless !)

Have booked myself into The Mariner Inn for the weekend......so wont have to wait for the pub to open! Alex says he is planning to sleep in his car.....so confirmation of two more Scottish attendess!
