It is with great sadness that I post the news that my dad, Ivatt Sallis, died on 21/1/19. He was the eldest of the three Sallis brothers (Ivatt, Martin and David) from Ely Sailing Club, who sailed National 12s from around 1950 to the 1980s. Many who sailed National Twelves around that time will no doubt have known him through competing at open meetings, North West Norfolk Week and Burton week.

Steve,Very sorry to read that. I  knew him well and crewed for him on a number of occasions.  He was a good mentor when I started helming in a 12 at ESC.Very best wishes,Dick HolttumN3470
