A big thanks to Paul and the rest of the organisers for this weekends event at Trent Valley, shame about the wind, and I have to say that the peas and pickled onions were definitely a tad odd. Entertaining talk from Tony Edwards on the Saturday night

Jonathon's comments really summed up BJ who was always the one for the pithy comment in between fags. I remember doing the YWTT in the late seventies I think when it was blowing old boots and I had just seen Leslie Ross dump his boat in a big way. BJ's comments were "It's a good day for you to sail with your kid brother I think." My brother at that time was probably no older than ten and I will happily say I did not fancy my chances of keeping the Whisper 4 I was sailing upright with what would have been no more than 16 stone in it. He will be missed as an unsung sailor and master of the sniddley bits
