The boat was nigel waller's and had a rotating daggerboard.
In 1982 it was changed to comply with the new rules and was sold.
It went to the 1983 and 1984 Burton weeks.
During that period it was based at Northampton Sailing club.

Flamingo was painted pink with black decks in 1980.
This was changed in 1981 and the original varnish was restored on the decks.

In 1981 the boat was called the faker and  came to Northampton sailing club.
It had no thwart.
It went to the 1982 burton week at Weymouth.

National 12 2791 was originally named Cobblers and sailed at Northampton Sailing Club.
She was owned for a year and then sold with the owner buying a cheshire cat 2877.
 

natioanl 12 2877 was named Cobblers when she was first launched in 1975 at Nottingham sailing club.
She sailed at Northampton Sailing club at went to 1975 burton week at Plymouth getting an 11th place in one of the races.
She also went to the 1976 Burton week at Falmouth coming 25th overall.
