Hi

The Twelves did very well.  I am slightly bitter this morning because when the gun went there were four twelves in the top 12 but by the time we crossed the finish line many faster boats who were just on our transom had blasted past.  Graham and Jonno did however do exceptionally well.

Hi

The 2011 fixtures list in now ready and has been posted onto the main website - http://www.national12.org/events/2011/events.shtml .  I would like to say it is 100% perfect but I do know that dates change and some of the clubs were not able to commit to a date at time of printing so please do keep an eye on the website / mailings for updates throughout the year.

We did turns at the start of race three on Saturday - we hit Gerry and Lis just before the start.  Our fault - hence some spins and the last boat to cross the start line!

Hello
I have incredibly fond memories of Ella (Grunge).  I sailed her with Nigel Waller (the original builder) for two years in 1994 and 1995.  We competed Whitstable Burton Week in 1994 finished 3rd in one race and fourth overall, also winning the Canter Trophy.
This was pre-double floor but post mast in strange position so relatively conventional at the time.

Sunday was very windy with a lot of swimming by EVERYONE not just the lightweights.  Well done Graham and Zoe.

No sailing today - too windy.  Better luck tomorrow.

It is ideal as a complete Guy Fawkes and your timing is spot on.  Stuff it with newspaper and after pushing it around the town centre in a buggy begging 'Penny for the Guy' you can chuck it on the bonfire.

I have absolutely no idea what happens when you burn all that rubber and coated fabric but it would be interesting to hear how much money you raise pushing it around town.

Well clearly biased but nothing to do with 'me too' - P&B produce excellent sails and have more titles than any of the other sail makers.  Tom and Dave also put a lot of time and effort into supporting the class, deliver what and when they say they will.  And yes they do have some good deals on 12 sails before Christmas.

My vote goes to Northampton!  Don't care too much about the beer but really don't want to drive 500 miles for a weekend, or closer to 600 for Kevin.

I would be amazed if you could find another venue at such short notice - Northampton is also under the threat of closure...

I have just seen an email from Tom Stewart stating the Inlands this weekend are postponed - the water has been closed because of an infestation of killer shrimp.  I kid you not, read more here - http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/news/123215.aspx

Hello
Kevin and I will be there in Snagglepuss (I assume, unless he turns up with the other pink one!).
