If you want an alloy 12 one then yes I have one in my garage going spare. I'm near Emsworth. 07974 323142.

Agree about the 'N'. I'm a recent 12 convert, but a couple of years ago the wave logo would have just passed me by.
How about a subtle (inch sq) wave logo on the left chest and the main text on the back. When the wearer has humps it makes reading it without getting your face slapped so much easier! (I was just reading your chest...honest!).
I like

Darwin was right...

In a way the evolution tag is redundant, as its the only thing that Darwin is famous for. Nice colour shirt but polo??

Graham,
A possible buggette in the new board (or possibly one I haven't noticed before). If you enter the Discussion Group or Boat Database by clicking on these headings then all is well but if you click on one of the three topics shown below these headings then you fly off to the relevant post but the main heading bar with the long thin picture and the '12' home button disappears.
The home button on the board takes you back to the board home but to get back to the site home means reloading the page from favourites or going 'back, back, back'. Not really an issue but not as elegant as a '12' should be.

I loved the despairing screams from the RS200 coming the other way!

Not a 12 but stick a snout on it and you've got a Cherub.

Lately though, the Cherubs have seem to have moved away from solid wings and gone to bars as they have less windage and waterage (........well if you can have windage, why not!?)

Personally I thought Cardiff University Sexual Health Awareness Soc were much more deserving!

But just so that Jim doesn't lose interest too quickly, several cherubs have been based on 12 hulls with wings added haven't they Mike. (Oh, and big pole and big spinnaker and big b****cks).

Thats sort of what I'm doing, but its not as quick as pulling with both hands alternately.

Steer with teeth? Get crew to steer? Tuck tiller extension under arm and steer by rolling the boat? .....or just get quicker at 'pull, trap, pull, trap'.

Might try sheeting off the boom and build my biceps!

Now that Daisy and I are getting the hang of Carbon Copy and are no longer not merely concerned with staying upright, it has become apparent that my leeward mark roundings absolutely suck. Twice on Sunday we passed the Albacore on the run only to lose out at the mark.

The problem that has become apparent (other than more practice!) is how to sheet in quickly with rear sheeting. With a centre main, hand over hand works well as the tiller hand is pulling more or less at right angles to the line of the tiller extension. With the rear main, especially when sitting well forward, I can't see how to sheet in with both hands while still holding the tiller extension.

What do you do?

True, but looking at the photos (regardless of the class) the 12 one isn't exactly stunning. Look at the three before. I'd say the 12 one might make it onto the calendar, but only just.

Just to show that training does pay, Daisy and I romped home a minute ahead of the fleet in similar conditions to those at spinnaker on the training day.

Now all we need is a slightly heavier air training day, a medium wind training day, a slightly windy training day.......etc!

And SCSC would be................?
