We're glad to hear our southern visitors enjoyed the event - it was great fun and good to see some new faces there.

Will be there from Friday evening and we're looking forward to a great weekend.  Filey is one of the nicest places to sea sail, and the regatta is always good fun. :)  Ellie has her bucket and spade packed already!

Did Rosie and Mark sail, and if so did they win?  They deserved to after their online correspondence!

Philip,
I don't think Mike will be very happy that you thought he used an angle grinder on your boat, more likely an electric plane.  I agree with you the weight saving is minimal but it transforms the tacking.  I know after 3395? was de-kelled the owner said it made a huge difference to the tacking.

Roly Mo (and Bernard too!) will be there.  New (ex Cherub sailor) crew up front so I forecast swimming . . . .

Have a fun weekend,

Will be there, together with Roly Mo, but don't have a crew yet.  Hoping to do Hunstanton, Brancaster and of course Overy Staithe, and possibly Blakeney.  If anyone fancies crewing for me at some or all of those events let me know.  Am staying in Brancaster Staithe for the week so could transport a crew from Brancaster or Brancaster Staithe.  If I don't get a crew we'll have another week of sailing the Lugger at Overy Staithe!  I know which Ellie will prefer me to do!

with all these different polls I'll never get any work done.  What next?

Jon,

I have a baloon pump that was to make it's way to the show.  But It's still sitting on my desk.  I'll make sure it's there next year.  I think we've got enought balloons (just)
