The OOD has now been briefed on the handicapping system!

Provision of on site accommodation looks good but there's no camping, caravanning or motorhoming on site which is a shame.  Looks a great venue.

Latest update, via Chadders!
In addition to Team RM and Ed Willett we are now expecting Chadders, Tim Gatti, Brian n'Ros, Brian Wady and Philip David so the fleet expands!  Anyone else coming out to play?

So far it looks like just 3 or 4 boats, surely that can't be so?

I don't remember being polled either!

Just a quick reminder for anyone travelling over the A66 - it's Appleby Horse Fair time and there may be delays as a result.

Andrew Greenhalgh has just advised me of the following for the Saturday night meal:

Hopefully the Summer sun will shine and we'll be enjoying an alfresco supper.  There'll be barbecues, an extensive buffet and puddings.
Anyone who has been to Annandale before will know that the evening meal is always a highlight and this year looks like being as good as ever.

Just to remind you, Ripon SC will host a Vintage 'handicap' meeting on 2 July 2011.  There will be 3 races, with 2 to count and the handicaps for races 2 and 3 will be based on results from race 1 (with some number crunching by Howard and Tim over lunch).  The first race will start at 11am.
If anyone needs a crew for this event they are asked to get in touch asap, and by 25 June at the latest.  We are just waiting for some final information before sending the NOR to Graham for posting on the website.
It would be lovely to know how many boats/helms/crews are coming along to join in the fun,

We had hoped to do this one but himself needs to go and practice sailing on the lumpy stuff before we head off to Dun Laoghaire in July.  Hope you have fair winds and sunshine,

We have used Halleaths and found it good, I think Mark and Emma Simpson stayed at Kirk Loch last year.

Team RM will be there with the Design 8, looking forward to it very much indeed.  Can we order light winds please as the small crew is booked for the weekend (she seems to think Annandale is the size of Lake Ontario and we are working hard to convince her otherwise!)

Great fun even if it was a tad windy for small crew at times.  Have come home with very happy memories of a weekend spent in excellent company and of a club with a caterer who deserves a Michelin Sailing Star!  Thanks to everyone involved in putting on such a lovely birthday party,
RM and Co
