Thanks to everyone involved with putting on the open at Ripon S.C. on Saturday.

Needless to say, the welcome was as friendly as ever.

We had a great time and enjoyed the tricky sailing conditions!


It's some years since I last visited and I was impressed with the improvements that have been made to the clubhouse.  I hope to be back again next year.

Thanks to everyone at Shoreham SC for organising an excellent weekend, it was great to get in some real sea sailing. Andrea and I had a blast!

Thanks to Tom and everyone else involved in organising and running a great weekend. It was great fun, even if the water was a little colder than I anticipated on Saturday! Hopefully we are allowed back again next year.

Is the usual "pre-registration for a discount" feature being offered? It's not immediately obvious to me if it is.

It's always seemed strange to me, especially given the status we assign to it and the importance of it to both the history of the class and sailing generally, that we don't have the deed of gift for the Burton Cup displayed on the website at all, let alone prominently.

This has been one of my favourite events for the past few years, it's great fun. The short race lengths means nobody gets left miles behind and the quick turnaround between them stops you getting cold. If you can get there, I highly recommend this event. Gutted to have to be missing it this year.

Well, that was a great weekend. Good to see 23 boats turn out, including some new faces, giving competition throughout the fleet. Thanks to everyone involved in organising and putting it on.
