Can't quite see what I want so have sent you a photo of the mess. 

Total newbie 12 owner question, but can anybody shed any light in the form of photos of around the mast area on a rigged up ac boat (crusader 88 in my case )Not sure what has gone on here looks to be a strange kind of barber hauler set up and some other bits im unsure of.

Looking to buy a new cover for one of my C 88's. Can anybody recomend a good breathable one that actually fits all her curves nicely and is not so generic! I have two and the both fit poorly.

I would have to agree I am 98+ on a good day but so taken by the class that I now own two crusader 88's! The beauty of the boat and fun factor win for me. After being in 8 different classes of dinghy I know where I am staying.

Stu do you still have a carbon boom available? I would like to buy it if so following your earlier offer.

Thanks for your comments and help I am impressed at how great the 12 comunity is! I would like to have a look at other boats for sure as I am missing a key custom component, the rear bar for top pintle. So be good to see what I have to make and what to run where.

Thanks John, I am based in Southampton. The main factor with me will be cost and getting her in a usable club racing condition for as low as possible.

I need some advice from the pros as a newbie to 12's. I have a boat with no rig or anything else for that matter! Its a crusader 88 N3282, can anybody recomend a good rig type / sails or have anything for sale to suit? Im not looking to spend a fortune just want to get her on the water.
Maybe its best to buy a boat near the endof its life to donate the required parts? Any ideas would help.

I am the now current owner of this lovely 12 and will be putting her on the water after refit to sail with my wife and son too in a couple of years time. I have a few photos and can post progress shots if anybody is interested?
Also I will be looking to obtain all the missing parts as I literaly have the fine hull alone.
