Hi all

I posted a message on here a few weeks ago regarding a lovely 1970 China Doll I acquired. Had some great advice and help from people on here.

I have now sailed her four times. First two I hated the boat and was already thinking about a price and where to advertise it before I got back to dry land.

After last Sunday I have now seen the light. Fantastic sail and so much more fun than my Miracle. All I need now is a decent set of sails....

A question though.....is it normal for your knees and legs to be stiff for two days after sailing a 12 ?

I have a China Doll and sailed it for the second time today. I felt the boom is very low and slopes towards the transom.

The sails are fully up and are quite old . Could it be they have streched or is there something in the setup that could be causing this ?

Just picked up an old 12 in beautiful condition. The number is 2482 and I believe its a China Doll. Anyone know anything about this boat ?

I havent sailed a 12 yet but have sailed a Miracle for a couple of years. My crew is terrified of it already and she hasnt been in it  !

Any tips for first outings ?
