Hi Paul,
Nathan Harding is still looking to sell his Big Issue 2, Chunky Monkey, N3505.  He's asked me to pass on his email address (as he's up to his neck in revision): nathanielharding@me.com if you'd like more details.

Thanks.

Thanks for the info everybody :)  I hope to get it sorted this week - which should make the hot weather arrive...yes??

Hi all,

Unfortunately at the weekend I managed to rip the wrist seal on my drysuit, so I need to replace it as I don't really feel ready to go back to wearing a wetsuit just yet.

I know you can buy DIY kits, but part of me feels it would be a lot less hassle if I could get someone else to do it (lazy student syndrome).  I know when my neck seal went my Mum posted it off to someone who kindly did it and posted it back, however she can't remember who!

Does anyone know of a post off repair service?  I am now based in Birmingham, but without a car so I'd be interested if there was anyone local.

Thanks!

Can I register a vote for a ladies "accesory".  A fascinator perhaps?  Or the old classic is the brooch?
Hard to think of something like a tie that would work for us ladies (not to say we couldn't have ties as well, they're just hard to wear).  However, something would be nice.  Actually perhaps a scarf? Neck tie?

Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone was travelling to Norfolk Week from the South West region (near or through the Bristol area) who would have space for a additional person + kit.  I'm only small and would more than happily pay my share of the petrol money.
Can anyone help?
Either email me: pip@prestleigh.com or leave a message here! Thanks.

Firstly - let me just add in my thanks to everyone involved. A wonderfully organised long weekend - both on and off the water.  There was definitely wind, water, pie and beer. And much more as well!
Also, I have a few photos from the Feeling Foolish party - perhaps Jeremy[/b] would like to upload them on to the Burton Week(end) website? Can I send them to you?

The boys would do - however, they're going to need to pull up their trousers, as how are they supposed to pull along trolleys without tripping over them! It's just a health and safety risk really...

Just wanted to bump this up - we're nearly half way to our target which is brilliant - thanks to those who have donated already. Please visit our page, if at least so we can raise awareness of this illness.

Happy sailing and thanks!

I'll second Jane's request - the Teignmouth guys were strong but perhaps slightly out of my age range...

Hi all,
Apologies if you have already been bombarded by my facebook messages - however, I'm trying all possible sources of sponsorship.
Some of you may be aware that my sister, Jo, has been ill with chronic fatigue syndrome (ME) for over 2years now, a horribly isolating illness in that she is unable to do everything her peers are able to do due to constant tiredness and exhaustion.  AYME is a charity that has offered a large amount support to her, and many young adults and children in her situation - they help people meet and get in contact with others who are going through the same thing, helping reduce the isolation.
My family has decided that we wanted to raise some money for this great charity - and so a sponsored skydive </font>has been decided.  The entire family: myself, my sister and my Dad and my Mum as well - many of you have met her at various Burton Weeks - who has a fear of jumping.
We would be hugely grateful for any contribution you could make through our website, please just click on the link below to sponsor us!

Right I have my tiara and long white gloves sorted for the dinner - but I think I'm going to get thinking about which N12 to dress up as this year.  Why did I let my mother take our "dressing up box" down to the charity shop..
See you all in approx. 18days :)

I'll agree with Jane on the need to accessorise the sailing outfit - however, I am a bit fussier requiring a number of options in outfits as well.
Many thanks to everyones help, both on here as well as via email and facebook! Hopefully I shall be well prepared for whatever weather throws at us for Burton Week(end). See you all there! :)

Hi all,
With this nice weather I've realised that perhaps only owning a drysuit won't be so sensible for Burton Weekend. Due to an unfortunate growing incident last year I am no longer able to stand up in my wetsuit when it is zipped up!  I am technically a student (though one that pays income tax at the moment) and thus have an aversion to spending money and so am looking for a bargain.  Sadly I won't be getting much sailing in this year so don't really want to spend lots on something I'll only wear for a few events!

So, does anyone, well any lady, have a second hand wetsuit they would like to get rid of for a reasonable price?  Even with my slight amount of growing, I am still looking for the small sizes!
Thanks :)

My vote would be for either the 3rd or the 5th - but I must admit I don't really wear t-shirts...more a polo shirt person. Is it just T-shirts? Oh and putting in a vote for "petite" sizes :)
