Fantastic meeting as always. Well worth the drive for what has got to go doen as one of the most challanging open meetings I have ever sailed in.  On thing you always get a Ripon are great pictures as boats flew past the clubhouse.
Thanks to Team Roly MO for their hospitality and looking after us on Friday and Saturday night. I especially liked the bit when we were running the bar late Saturday night!

We will be camping Friday and Saturday night so please include catering for 2 on Saturday night.

Any idea how many boats are going and how many are AC?  Intereste who the competition is in the AC fleet.

Just googling the area on satelitte to work out the way there.
Are we parking the boats on the promanade or in the car park near the point?
Or am I wrong on both counts?

Don't worry Phil you wern't the only one. I also went out and bought the August issue thinking that must be the latest being the 4th August and all but it isnt in there.
So we must be talking about the September issue?

Sorry to be a nag but now we are into the Gill series summer break are we likley to see the results up on the website?  As a member of the AC brigade I am of course interested in these standings also.

Matt and I did try to sail at Thorpe Bay but the first wave capsized the boat before we had even got in it! Matt took a boat full in the face and that was when I decided enough was enough and I wanted a boat (and crew) left for this weekend.
We did try, but the bacon and eggs buttys made it worth while all the effort.

PS.  had a fab sail on the river Sunday. Much simpler launching and very fast planning on the flat water!

Talking to Gerry Ledger at the weekend, he told me there is free camping at Snettisham Beach.  So I was just going to turn up there and throw a tent up.
Is this true Gerry??
