Picture of Thomas sailing Wom Pom with sister Rosie.
Other picture is Phil Brown helping us remove the two spray rails.
So come to our coaching session at Spinnaker when we get it set up and we'll address some of those 10 essentials
OK Phil, no problem organising a training meeting at Spinnaker. There is a minimal charge for visitors on the day but shouldn't put anyone off. I'll catch up with you over the weekend (could do with some help on Toms boat....) and we'll sort a date.

BWI is complete b@@??@#s if you are fit and exercise regularly. I got down to 12.5 stone and everyone thought I was pegging out. A medium build and a lot of cycling / sailing was hardly making me obese! Like all their rugby chums, both my sons (Tom & Rory) are 'clinically' obese, funny that... in Rory's case he is almost verging on fanatic about training.
I cycle and sail, seems to be a good combination as the old legs can last all day on bike or boat. Fitness is pretty central to effective sailing, but muscles are heavy... so do I lose the muscles and weigh less or let them waste away and weigh even less?
Time on the water is the answer, all I need to do is find the time!

Hi david, look under the 12 logo in my panel....

Jim, you seem to have caused more damage to PP in one week than I managed in three odd seasons. Removal of thwart seat will cause very unhappy crews so suggest not such a bright idea!

For sale on Boats and Outboards August 2007, located in hampshire. Looks lovely in picture, see attached.

Hi David, no Rosie or Fiona. See no point in a scratch crew as experience shows this to be a waste of time... See you next Wednesday. Simon

While we're on the subject of excellent venues, we sailed at the Swanage Regatta over the weekend of 4th and 5th August. OK. On this occasion we were the only 12 sailing, as the other Spinnaker 12's were at Burton Week and Salcombe.
However, Swanage is a great place to sail, all us visitors were made very welcome and there was plenty of competition on the water. In all, an extremely well organised and well run regatta.
If you enjoy sea sailing in a lovely location lock this one in to the memory banks, I'll let you all know when I know next years dates.
I am telling you this as I am aware if we turn up with enough 12's, we will get our own fleet racing and a nice cup for the winning boat.
If the dates are right it could be a date on your way back from the Nationals...

That looks interesting, as Rosie is away, will try and recruit Fiona tomorrow and join you.

Spotted several times on this discussion board but noticeably absent at the club!! Come back David!

Hopefully Nigel will pick up more places on the way home. They have done incredibly well considering a high number of the cream of UK yachting have gone home (some may say wisely).
We have been watching him the whole race, it must have taken real courage given the conditions, well done to all of them and wishing them a safe return home.
How about digging out one of our many trophies and presenting it to them all, there must be one for this type of achievement, even if we have to make another brick available!

Why does he need your autograph John?

Guess Jim must be on his way to Brixham, he's disappeared off the forum!

This is most likely a scam.
They arrange to send you a sum of money in excess of the value of the boat and you agree to pay them back the balance to another account. You then get a worthless cheque / bill of exchange and they get your refund.
Standard scam, I serve on the British Marine Federation brokers committee and we know all about this, if you have advertised on boats and outboards you will also get regular reminders of this scam.
These guys try it on with boats at any value!
