Brilliant weekend, thanks to all 17 boats for tuning up and being the biggest fleet. As Meads said, shame about the wind on Sunday but the 3 lively races on Saturday were brilliant!

The next round of the Gul Series will be taking place at RHYC in two weeks time - who is coming along for 2 days of river racing & great entertainment ?


First race 11 on the Saturday.

There will be a separate handicap pursuit race on the Sunday AM - to be organised by the 12s (ABC - Anyone but Camm).


Camping available on site.


The weekend is also part of a vintage series!

Fantastic news! I imagine Alistair's offer is closer but my road trailer could be borrowed if you wanted to come via suffolk!

10 National 12s took to the water to complete 5 races today, in sunshine conditions with increasing wind.

"Fibre glass hull in good condition, but in need of some TLC - unused for 7 years. Decking needs re-varnish and missing transom vents. No trailer, only a launching trolley with flat wheels. Boom, sails and rudder not shown but are included."

Here is a photo of 3390 - Mr. Badger - being sailed by Graham and 'Mini' Ireland on the River Orwell in July 2015. This was part of the Royal Harwich Yacht Club's inaugural 'Smuggler's Trophy' and was also part of the 2015 Gul Series.

2781 was up for auction at The Wroxham Boat & Leisure Auction on 23rd March 2016.
