We ended up buying 3286 back from Michael, sailed at Carsington, sold her on again and have now bought her back for the third time.

Carsington SC open will take place on 22nd July and will be shared with the Laser 2000's. The race format will be 4 races, 2 in the morning back to back then 2 in the afternoon, 3 to count. The galley will be open all day. Hope to see you there.

Its not listed as a 12 but I think it is 3053. The owner states that it probably needs re-decking and it sounds like there is rot in the bow but for £30 it might be worth a punt if you have the time to re build it.

I work for an resin company and this is a common problem when resins are stored cold. It is one of the costituents crystallising out. Just warm it up and it will be fine. Even got caught out myself leaving some WEST in the garage over winter.

What a great idea Paul. John and I have been discussing this problem, and have been exploring other possibilites. We are at Carsington. We are prepared to travel to other clubs. We do have a 'cabon racer' but lack the competitive racing with other 12's and therefore the experience of 12 sailing. We are more than happy to support this. Sue
