Is there any restriction on which sailmakers you can use? I am in a similar position having just bought a bagy trousers witha tin mast and it will be a while till i can afford to change it! However a new set of sails will need to be on the horizon soon, but i know a very good local chap i may decide to support.

Grimalkin sold to Jemremy Farrow. I understand she shall be sailing in the Evesham area on the river.

Just purchased "jeans" from Essex, now residing in Weymouth. Some pictures to follow once I have smartened her up. Anyone konw any history about her? I have seen her on a picture in the handbook for the Thames area so I'm assuming she spent most of her life around there.

Getting back to the matter this thread started with, i wonder if that rule would limit how small the wetted perimeter could become?

John,
Thanks again thats really useful. I see the second sheet mentions a sheet 204 for "tuning". Do you know if thats useful information worth seeking or would you advice me to see how it goes and find what works best for me?

Can anyone help with the setting up of a needlespar mast!
I've got a general gist of what sorts of things i need to get my head round but I wondered if there were any numbers or ideas that would help?

I ve never done the warming pan before and am looking for a gentle start into open eventing for my old 12. Would this be a good venue?

I ve found epifanes paints, although not two pack, to be very tough and give a good level finish with a roller or a brush if thats any help?
