    <font face="Verdana">Dear N12 members,

     
 
      A huge thank you to all of you who sponsored me in the Royal Parks
      half marathon. I made it across the finish line last Sunday in 1hr 55m 40s</font><font face="Verdana">. The course was an amazing
      snapshot of London sights, running past the London Eye, Nelson's
      Column, Admiralty Arch, the Royal Opera House and of course
      through four of the Royal Parks (Hyde Park, St James, Green Park
      and Kensington Gardens). With 12,500 runners and 40,000
      supporters, it was a fantastic atmosphere.  My personal team of
      supporters (Graham, Anya, Felix and my brother) managed to pop up at
      three different points during the race waving luminous pink flags
      so I couldn't miss them. 

     

      I will have raised over £1,800 for the Alzheimer's Society, far
      more than I would ever have expected, which will go towards
      further research into causes and potential cures for dementia and
      to provide support to affected families.
