Well done to all of you who put in so much time and effort to make it all happen. The boats looked stunning and we certainly had a load of visitors when Thomas and I were helping o Saturday. If we get the picture pages back, I'll put a few up of the stand.

Hi there, we all regularly sail our twelves single handed at Spinnaker on the lake. As long as you fit cleats for the jib and have other bits of string sensibly placed you will have a lot of fun. The trick is not to jump about too much (on the lake) especially as you are no lightweight! Enjoy!! Simon N3470

For those who are interested, I have posted some pictures of the event in the 2005 gallery.
Looks like we were all having a great time.

Just a second reminder to you all inviting you to the Spinnaker Open meeting this Saturday. The lake is very challenging and great fun to sail on, especially when you have Mr Wilkins to beat up on!!! We have several 12's on the lake so there is a race for everyone from the least to the most experienced.
I understand you will even get a free tea after the sailing, plus a special award for the person who beats David by the biggest margin. ;D

Having gone to enormous trouble and expense to take a pictures of Mr Cooke looking a complete plonker at the boat show, he now tells me he will not publish the same in the Ratchet. I suggest if enough people vote he should he could be forced out in to the open. If you didn't get to the show and see the new boat he has just completed, then let me tell you it not only looked the business, it also appeared extemely well founded and well thought out. So, like me, you had better start saving up the pennies so he can make you one.
