I realise this is quite short notice but....

Graham and I have found an empty date in the 12 calendar to put on a bit of coaching and a video session at Burghfield to which all are welcome. The aim of the day is two-fold... firstly coaching and secondly to try and build up a stock of interesting video footage for use by the class for promotional purposes (including Dinghy Show) and training. Hopefully the weather will play ball and we will have a nice sunny F3-4!
If you would like to take part in either the video section or the coaching or both, please post your reply here.... It would be great to get a big mix of boats to come along so that we can get some good footage together. If you have access to a suitable camera please bring it along so that we can create the most footage from different angles!
Cost for the day will be £5 per boat to pay for powerboat usage.

The club is also having a 'Hog Roast' in the early evening to which you are more than welcome. Cost is £10 per adult and £7.50 person youth (U16).

PLease indicate if you want to join the Hog Roast so that I can reserve you some tickets.

Start time for the day will be around 10-10.30.

Feel free to give me a call if you want further info... number in the handbook

Post here if you want to come and join in this 12 fest!!!

Nick would have loved to come but he had just committed to doing the Enterprise Youth Championships ( only going to socialise with other club members - no chance of deserting 12s)
Any more coaching sessions and we will be there if possible

Thanks to Graham, Zoe and Jono for giving up their time to come and help out with the training today.....
and thanks also to all those who came for the training and didn't run me over as I stood videoing  in 4 1/ 2ft deep water in the middle of the lake on a shallow spot whilst boats buzzed around me........ some got rather close!!

Thanks for organising the session Jeremy - real shame I couldn't bring Token Gesture - but getting the chance to sail Trick Cyclist was a real treat. We would definitely attend a similar session next year, if it can be arranged.
Sorry for sailing so close, but you did say you wanted to be buzzed!
