I think Arthur considers himself a 'veteran'.

Hi Andy, I'm sure a crew can be sorted. Tom may even be able to tempt one from Olton Mere. We'll keep you posted!

That's good news Tom,
I heard a rumour yesterday, that Woody will have his spanking Paradigm 2 (yet to be named) ready in time too. Not to mention A.B. the godfather, with a new carbon mast fitted to 3267!

Two weeks to go until the the MAAT Open Meeting at Midland Sailing Club.
Based in Birmingham on Edgbaston Reservoir, the event will be run in conjunction with our Enterprise Open.
The 65 acre reservoir is full and the 'historic' Firefly Trophy, currently in the hands of Tom White, is up for grabs.
Attendance permitting, we'll have prizes for AC and Vintage boats.
We're hoping to get atleast 5 home boats on the water, so please join us and help make this joint event a success for the Midland Area 12's.
Looking forwarding to welcoming as many visitirs as possible.

From someone who couldn't be at haylimg Island this year, I just wanted to say, I really enjoyed viewing the images and reading the reports, as the weekend progressed. Many thanks Jeremy, great job!

Hi, the boat looks fantastic. I'm sure you'll have great fun sailing her. We have a fleet at Midland S.C. on Edgbaston reservoir in Birmingham and there's also good fleets at Olton Mere in Solihull. Trent Valley, near Nottingham and many other owners reasonably local to Lichfield. You'd be welcome to come along to Midland and give it a go and have a chat with our 12 sailors. There's lots of advice and practical help in this class. It would be good to see you around sometime. good luck with your new acquisition.

Bart was owned Robin Wood for a fair while before Caroline. I saw him compete in several handicap regattas down in Saundersfoot, I think with his son, before moving on to sailing International Canoes.

I was planning on going, although in my Crusader, I've got no chance of a decent result. It'll blow the cobwebs out though!

Boats / Re: N2966 Windy Lady

I have a Cheshire Cat (2895) built by Impact Boats and apart from the fact that mine has buoyancy bags rather than a rear tank, the lines, internal layout and deck arrangements look pretty much identical. They're solidly built and great boats for Inland water and fairly forgiving for young crews.

Hi Chris
Just wanted to let you know that Jenny and I are planning to be there. I did fill in the online form, but I'm not at all sure it got to you. If it did then great, if not, perhaps you could let me know and i'll try again.
Cheers

Jenny and I (and matt sailing with Angus), had a great weekend. Shame about the lack of breeze on Sunday. A pleasant surprise to come away with a set of glasses! Hoping to do more Gill events next year in Wot More Pudding
