No Roly, I cannot come up with a better reply other than perhaps the worms have been feasting on both the wood of the boat and sweeties dropped in the bottom by small people, but by far the best way to cure it is indeed to wash the whole boat down in dirty brown beer; or if you are posh a quick splash of Champagne on the outside prior to relaunch is a good way of keeping the blighters at bay ICM

This is a good way of illustrating what can happen when you start going down the mine, and as everyone else has said, pretty dramatic breakage and how much quicker 12s are than Enterbarges.

I remember looking at the back of some really old handbooks at my parents that used to advertise ties as a Fine Article of Apparel. I bet Michael had something to do with those.

Well done Grazz, I can let you know the name of a good pie shop. It even sells veggie pies!!

Look at the size of the ensign of the boat on the first picture. It looks like it has come from a Battleship!

I take it the Bubblemen were off sailing elsewhere or were they pillow fighting in the club?

And your avatar Bernard is a bit of a give away

Looking at the database here it would appear that the boat is a Cheshire Cat, it certainly looks like one to me, but as you get a boat thrown in with the trolley you are after....well it's your choice Angus. Carry on like this and you could end with as many boats as Tim!!

These Clamcleats are worth their weight in gold and I have invested in one for both my rudder and plate for any of those emergecies that tend to happen at places like Norfolk.

If memory serves me correctly Token Gesture was built by Mr Peebles himself. Dave Peacock may have had a hand in it, but not too sure.

I do not know if it is of any use, but there is a good article in the Hornet association forms.

As they say it is part of the black arts, and whilst I understand some of it, I have never used a gybing centreboard. Good luck!!
