old boats

Hi and greetings, I got chatting to an estate agent (I'm downsizing!) about sailing boats. I was saying the reason I wanted to buy a particular house (located Bursledon, Hants) is because I can see the Isle of Wight (I sailed there a number of times), went on to talk about my early dinghy sailing days in the 1960's - I learnt to sail on a National 12 ..wonderful days, mostly single handed...however, I got to thinking and decided to join this esteemed association with view to finding out if anybody currently owns my old National 12, or knows of its history since I owned it. The sail number was 943. I named it Cherie, cheers, Roy
