Dam I was just about to set off to get her. By the way have you thought about it jimbo Carbon is just wood with all the useless bits removed although I do hear tell that wood stands up to canon fire better.

Great article and great job, would loved to have seen it in ratchet but if I turn the screen round and move the monitor acroos abit anf leave both doors open, yes I can just about manage to read it on the throne, oh hang on a minute, I'll either have to get a 28" screen or a pair of binoculars. 8)

Can anybody tell me anything about n3200 'Baggins' I am at present negotiating with the owner but I am not reealy in a position to make the long trip down to view her so would be interested in an unbiased view.
By the way sold my China Doll to somebody from inverness at the weekend so that is yet another 12 north of me. ::)

On the subject of rock climbs my favourate was dinosaur but up in the sixties by a teenager on 900ftblank lump of granite in the cairngorms. Yeh youve guessed it. cause he had a long neck very little brains as was heading for extinction. (Although I think he is still alive today, he was last time I saw him anyway!).
Boat names I keep thinking up great ones only to think they are stupid a few days later.

I tie mine directly to the jib, It light airs I need to put it on a bit to stop it pulling the jib out of shape but over wise it is fine.

I asked this question about 6 months ago and I can't rember the reply, but know body said there pole was too long I actually made my pole 10cm longer than the longest thinking that I could chop a bit off if needs be. I have had no problems apart from  trying to gouge furrows in the fordeck if I don't let it off enough be fore swapping sides. But thats nothing to do with lenght more incompetance.
I think my pole is about 1.7m but I will check tomorrow.

I Like the hard copy, I can't see the computer when I'm having a crap. Not even if I got broad band I couldn't do that.
Bye the way there is a nice ToY and China Doll on ebay if anybody is interested.
And jimbo I agree with mikey carbon weeve looks cool so woods not all that s good,
sorry I'm seem to be adding to more than onr thread tonight, too much of the amber nectar no doubt. ??)

Thanks for all the comments. Ye Jimbo we know about your plan to take over the world with a fleet of National 12s I hear that wood can take canon shot better than fibre glass but I don't know about carbon. ::)

After my stunning performance at the inlands I have decided to sell both my boats to get somthing a bit quicker so if anybody is interested in a ToY or a China Doll give me a shout, I am off course wanting great amounts of money for them to fund my Baggy or Crusader. By the way a ToY is a single hander with a sliding seat not a 12 that you havn't heard of. I might be prepared to transport to the North of England while I am looking for boats.
On that subject what should I go for a Bggy or a Crusader. We have an all up weight of under 15 stone but are only going to get heavier, at least Rohan is and mainly sail on inland waters although we are planing on travelling more next year.

I think there is still a need for a news letter even if it does become electronic and remeber not all of us are on broad band, Photos are a right pain over dial up.
