My 2nd Twelve. I bought her in 1973 and enjoyed considerable success at club level at Henley SC for a couple of years - She was originally built for Graham Pearce who gave her the name, the first of a few Penny's. I took her to Burton Week at Pevensey Bay ( my first) and a few open meetings - her claim to fame is picture of her at Lymington easter regatta in the Guiness Book Of Yachts and Yachting Feats - not for anything special, just being there when the photographer was about! I believe that she has now fallen into disrepair - or worse. David Wilkins |
