Currently named 'Daffodil', this boat has recently been located in North America and is currently being restored by Jack Lawrence Jones who lives on Long Island NY. He has done some of the work at Wooden Boat Magazine's Wooden Boat School in Brooklin, Maine. A friend of his in Dallas, Texas gave him the boat to get it off his drive (apparently it was a Christmas present from his wife.) It seems it was imported into the USA by a dealer in UK antiques who specialised in items used for decorating restaurants. I'll post some photos once they come through. |
