N12 Association boat registration, certification and membership
Re-register a second-hand boat, replace a missing or lost
certificate, order a sail number for a new boat or renew your
membership of the National 12 Owners' Association below.
Payments can be made on-line securely by PayPal using a
credit/debit card or PayPal account. Download membership or boat
registration form to pay by cheque. For membership subscriptions
there is a standing order form to setup regular payments.
Re-Registration of a boat
(if you have just bought a second hand boat).
If you have just bought a second hand boat, re-register it
in your name by completing the details below. You can also
change the name of your boat at the same time.
Where a certificate exists we need to see it to ensure
your new certificate shows the latest data, since it is not
necessary for N12 owners to return their certificates to the
Association when rig/weight changes are made. If no
certificate exists the last known data will be used.
The old certificate can be scanned (both sides) and
emailed to ntoa@national12.org or posted to the Hon
Certification Officer, Woodman's Lodge 52d Shaw Lane,

New sail number (for a new boat)
If you are building or buying a brand-new National 12 (never
registered before), request a new sail number below. On receipt
of payment you will be advised of your new Sail Number and sent
a measurement form which you should present to your measurer for
him/her to complete. When measurement is complete the form
should be returned to the Hon Certification Officer, Woodman's Lodge
52d Shaw Lane, Holbrook, Derbyshire DE56 0TG. Your new
certificate will then be issued and your membership pack will be
forwarded separately. No further payment is required.

Association Membership
You can join the Association as either a Full or Associate
member. There are reduced rates for juniors and over 65s. Download
the forms here.
