Being sold on eBay march 2007; Description Seller assumes all responsibility for listing this item. Item Specifics Condition: Used Rhoobarb, N 3156, is a "cold moulded plywood", Bob Hoare build Tigress design. This lovely boat has all varnished hull & deck & is in very sound structural condition. Sadly it has deteriorated a little over the last year, but with a little love & attention, can be brought back to its race winning beauty. There are some defects in varnish shown by discoloration of the wood, as illustrated in the photos. This should disappear when rubbed back & re-varnished. The only damage that will require adhesive to repair, is a small area of aft deck de-lamination at the transom, & about 2-3 feet on the port gunwale has started to separate. I have tried to show this in the photos. It comes with a Proctor alloy mast with dangly pole, & Super spar alloy boom. Stainless standing rig with muscle boxes. The running rig is in good condition & works perfectly. There are two sets sails, one in very good condition, the other, adequate. Two centre boards, one long & one short. It sits on a recently reconditioned road trailer, but no trolley. It does have a cover, which serves a purpose, but is very tatty & really needs replacing. To my knowledge this boat has never been in salt water. She sails very well, & could be extremely competitive in the right hands. It will need to be collected from Maidstone sailing club & comes with a certificate of measurement. I'm really sad to have to sell this tough, little, precision craft, but unfortunately no longer have the time to maintain & enjoy her. Advertised for sale on eBay April 2011. Located in Reading, Berks. Attractive buy-it-now price! Still looks lovely; once owned by Sue Pelling.
