I aquired this boat from free-cycle, Milton Keynes a few weeks ago. It was half way through a restoration job. I have finish painting the hull and sanding back to wood on the inside, I will be varnishing shortly. |

OK well done however Im sure the boat you have is not Travelling Light I was going to pick it up myself. The Boat you have is clinker built and is possibly a march hare called fifi hope this helps regards Paul |

I have to say that I agree with Paul, I too looked at this boat, did some research and felt that things were not as straight forward as first seemed. I also came to the conclusion that it was probably a 1964 March Hare called Fifi, hull no 2253. Unless anyone else knows differently. I have to say the although this was a disappointment, this was not the thing that stopped me buying the boat, yes buying, it was the loss of my rented garage as the owner wanted it back.
