We owned her in the late eighties-early nineties and she was a very nice boat indeed, then painted black, sorry I cant remember now who we sold her to but she stayed in the North I think. |

I owned her from 1978 to 1981. Acquired her from the Davison brothers who sailed at Queen Mary and had her from new. She was the plug for the grp Scooters and was originally painted red with a black Holt mast. A pretty, well-builtĀ boat but no correctors. From memory, I sold her to a bloke from up North. At that time, Northampton was a hotbed for Twelves. Nigel Waller (later with Jo Richards) was building in Market Harborough just up the road from Northampton SC (and just down the canal from where I live today). Out of interest, does anybody know her whereabouts these days ? I might be interested in owning her again. Need something a bit quicker to get from house to pub....... see link below.... http://forums.sailinganarchy.com/index.php?showtopic=97952 |
