N.276 "Rain" which, hopefully, is seen on the attached rather poor image, was as far as is known, a Trent Valley boat and in the picture is rounding the top mark, just below the railway bridge. The boat's owner is E.V.Wagner, and boat and owner were third in the Burton of 1938, which in that year was won by Dick Wyche, also of Trent Valley. Ken Goddard
