Flamingo was painted pink with black decks in 1980. This was changed in 1981 and the original varnish was restored on the decks. |

I can remember this boat way back when........ Originally owned by a guy called Paul Clements who sailed at Derwent and possibly Tynemouth, Mike will be able to update better as he was based round there when he was small and sitting at the front of his Dad's boats. Boat was originally painted in a flamingo pink colour. No idea where she went after Derwent. |

I bought the boat from Paul in 1980, I believe it was from the Bristol area, and first sailed at St George sailing club in North London and Northampton Sailing Club in 1981. |
