Boat was built by Wyche and Coppock and finished by Brian Miatt. Originally had chinese letters of the stern spelling the name of the female Chinese Pirate of the same name from the Arthur Ransome book. At the time Brian was a university lecturer at Leeds and had to get his students who came from the Far East to assist in the spelling of the name as the characters in the book were allegedly incorrect. Look for the carved bear on the inside of the side deck (if it has not been redecked) which was Brian's trademark on his woodwork. He sold the boat in the mid seventies to someone who sailed at West Riding SC at Wintersett.
