This boat was one of the Burton SC 12s kept in the dinghy park at Branston during the mid-late 1970s. She had a green painted hull with varnished decks/ interior and belonged to Mike Anslow. I crewed for him once sometime during 1975-76 and remember how quickly the boat roll-tacked in close racing. The last season at Branston (1978) was also Mike's last at the club as I haven't seen him or Emma Peel since....:( |

Mike is very much still with us, sailing a Merlin at Midland SC. I bought a set of sails with this number on from Vic Lewis many, many years ago. I dont think this bodes well for the fate of this boat, id say it was almost certainly broken up in the larte 80's/early 90's. |

Mike Anslow, i can remember him. Vic Lewis, Merlin Rocket sailor, Rya Dunhill team racing. Great days. Harry and Kevin Haynes, Kevin was always on Mill Bay in his Speedos! |
