Pre 1967: Unknown 1967: Recovered in Manchester, rebuilt (using a kettle to resteam the clinker planks), and named Gisla after a village on the Isle of Lewis She was owned at that time by Colin Sheppard, an electrical engineer who could turn his hand to anything, including boat building She was regularly sailed from Grimsby, and occasionally on the Great Ouse in Cambridgeshire. After only a few years she was sold, because of the weight of the sails and centreboard, being too much for young children |
