N3488 ‘Two Fat Ladies’
Built in 2004 by Geoff and Amelia Camm, N3488 is a double bottomed, carbon fibre foam sandwich constructed Big Issue. Purchased by the current owner ~2006, the boat has been barely been used and has been garage stored. Red Hull, orange decks and interior epoxied carbon mat finish. Good condition with minor bumps and scuff consistent with normal use. Designed around a ‘hatchet’ centerboard to mimic a ‘dagger’ board within the class rules. Deck stepped carbon mast and dangly pole. Carbon fibre lifting rudder, also ‘dagger’ style. 2 set of sails and a 3rd jib, all likely to be ~20 years old but in good/reasonable condition.
Also included are under and over covers, combination road trailer/launching trolley and trailer board.
Overall in very good condition due to limited use, some water staining on covers due to leaking garage roof. Some carbon steel washers appear to have been used during the original fit out and these need to be replaced, otherwise ready to sail.
