1495.00 £ N3415 Wild Front Ear Design Plymouth

National 12 racing dinghy, one of six built to Paul Oakley's 'Wild Front Ear' design by Gerry Ledger in 1995. This boat is recognised for being the first double floored completely self draining National 12. She's built very lightly of cedar strip, with sapele ply decks. The mast and boom are carbon. The boom is very recent and has hardly been used. Many of the fittings, including the main and jib ratchet blocks, are Harken. A good galvanised combination trailer/trolley is included. She has two mainsails, one used but still ok for club racing and one virtually unused Pinell and Bax main. This was bought by the previous owner and delivered just in time for him to sell the boat. We never used it as it's cut fairly full and is too powerful for a seven stone helm! It is the older mainsail that is up in the photo's. The Pinnel and Bax jib is good. She's rigged with a dangly jib pole. There is a breathable top cover that was custom made for her and a virtually unused undercover, also made for her. She's been garaged in our four years of ownership and can be used immediately.
You're welcome to view before buying. I could be persuaded to deliver up to 100 miles. I've loads of photo's of her that I could e mail if you are interested.
