Aardvark Issues N3472 (Big Issue)
- Location: Teesside, Durham, North East, United Kingdom
Built by Mike Cooke of Aardvark Technologies in 2002. The boat was sailed regularly between 2003 and 2015 on the open meeting circuit, winning numerous events, the Northern area series and the Scottish Championships. The self draining hull is extremely stiff and robust and carries 6kg of correctors. A very competitive boat and an interesting project for conversion to a foiled rudder. All carbon fit out includes; superspars mast, centreboard, bloodaxe fixed rudder (inc tiller extension), chipstow boom and dangly pole. Harken/ronstan fittings. Under/over covers and combination trailer. Two sets of Alverbanks sails, newest set are probably 10-15yrs old, but have seen little use over the last 7 or 8 years hence in good condition. Also included is a Raymarine Tacktick mirco compass, worth £300 new. Garage stored whenever not sailed.
