Yorkshire Dales Open Meeting
« on: July 06, 2011, 11:49:39 PM »
Who is coming out to play on this fantastic water on Sunday 24th July?  I will definately be going as will Neil and Rachel to sample once again the luxury of heated changing rooms and a balcony with a view, such a change from the old hut and Porta Potty!!
Please indicate below if you can come or contact Neil by phone (in the book) or by replying to his email if you received it.  Three races two to count and a brilliant lunch what could be better.  See you all in time for a Bacon Buttie.  Howard C

Sadly we won't make the morning race as I've got some coaching to run and the child is racing her boat in the junior series at RSC, we will see what the weather is like for a last minute dash for the 2nd and 3rd races.

Dear All
Just to confirm the final arrangements for Sunday
First Race to start @ 11.30 am with 2 races to follow after lunch
Briefing at the clubhouse
lunch and refreshments available in the galley.
The gates should be open between 9.30 and 10.00
It seems a number of people coming are planning to try out new kit, rumours of Howard Chadwick turning up with a new carbon mast, Andy Mackee trying out new sails and Patrick Hamilton is planning one better by turning up with his new boat !
If you are stuck for a crew we may have options ??? Contact Neil at home, details in the Year Book
Forecast is promising sunshine and 10 mph winds !
See you there

I agree with Andy, Yorkshire Dales would be  great venue for a Gill Series meeting, lots of space, excellent clubhouse, beautiful location in a National Park and its always windy.
