WHAT EVENTS ARE THERE?
Over the course of Burton Week there are social events in the evenings including:
Burton Dinner; Feeling Foolish Party; Crews Union
BBQ & DRINKS
There will be a BBQ and drinks on the Saturday evening, to welcome the competitors after the first days sailing. The BBQ will be held onsite at WPNSA.
OLYMPIC WANABEES PARTY
Replacing the ‘Feeling Foolish Party’, in honour of the venue the main party this year will be the ‘Olympic Wannabees’ party. Dress as an Olympian of the past or as an Olympic sport. Prizes will be awarded for the most creative and entertaining costumes paraded before panel of very serious judges! Prizes for both youth and adult entries. The evening will be compliment by disco or band.
BURTON DINNER
The Burton Dinner is, and has been, Integral part of Burton Week since it first took place. A semi-formal event, it will be held at WPSNA and more details can be found using the navigation bar to the left.
be said is that there are invariably a few sore heads the following morning!
