Hope to do the final preparation prior to applying the varnish this weekend but not sure which to buy does anyone have any advice or tips as to what make of varnish to buy and also any tips on application. Many thanks, Moggsey

Epifanes seems popular - especially if it is not a 2 pack finish underneath.

Using interantional Compass applied by foam roller laid off with 2 inch foam "brush" from Pinbax.com.  Seems a cheap and easy way of getting a reasonable finish. 400 garde wet n dry (wet) between coats. More coats required by very quick.  Simon Clark N3413 and others to do !!
