Below is a link to the results so far. Sailing of the Burton Cup today has been postponed due to extreme weather conditions at the club. The Cup will be raced for in the morning.

Tom Stewart and Andrea Ralph won a long Burton Cup race.
After a first race had been abandoned on the first beat we sat around in no wind and rain for a couple of hours.  With time running out to start a final race, Tom and Andrea led from the first buoy in light winds.  Steve and Jo Sallis were within a couple of boat lengths of them for more than 2 hours, until at the start of the final lap we had a 90 degree windshift.  Graham and Zoe had made progress recovering from a poor first leg and were 3rd by this point.  This beat was the vital part of the race with Steve and Jo as well as William Warren and Sophie Mackley heading for a big black cloud on the right whilst the rest of the leaders sniddled up the middle.  They got to the layline just a little before the wind arrived.  As a result Tom and Andrea were able to extend their lead but with Graham and Zoe now charging into second.
With the shift larger than expected the next reach had become a run and the final reach was very tight which allowed Tom & Andrea to extend their lead a little as the wind increased.  We got ashore around 5pm and then pack up and long drives home.  Very tired today!

Sound like a long old day at sea and then on the road, thanks for keeping all us arm sailors up to date with all the happenings at Burton Week.
Here's to hoping most peoples have tomorrow booked off work.

Are there any photos of the event anywhere - remember seeing some on the screen in the Clubhouse but not sure who was taking them?
Thanks again to all at Pevensey for a great event -  the Race Team dealt admirably with the ever changing conditions and the catering was fantastic - what a shame the meal at the Burton Dinner was such a let-down after all the work that went into organising it.
As for the 24hrs of continuous rain on the Monday - I think we could all have done without that, especially those who got flooded out and had to go home.
Thanks too to the always excellent N12 organising team - let's hope more boats make it onto the water next year.
