After sailing Triarda for 2 years, I have now purchased a singlehanded so I am looking to pass her to a new owner.
The combi road trailer has been serviced at Trident UK in Sep 2022 and trailer had NEW suspensions, hubs and wheels, <30 miles since and receipt available; trailer complete with mast support and tie down bar and rope.
Great boat to get into vintage sailing, ready to tow away and sail and tour up and down the country , which unfortunately I do not have the time for.Also new in 2022: 2x buoyancy bags, mainsheet, main and jib halyards and mast ram rope.
She comes ready complete to sail, with a set of Alverbank sails with sail bags, carbon sheated c/board, mast ram and dangly pole, adjustable shrouds, aluminum mast and carbon boom. Breathable made to measure over-boom cover new in 2020 by LulhamRobinson with boom support and good undercover. Measurement certificate.
Spares: smaller rudder blade, another broken but fixable rudder blade, a non matching no. older mainsail off another N12, and an older spare wheel for the trailer .
Currently garaged at home in Newcastle upon Tyne.

N12 3482 Steam Pudding, Man'o'war design. Bought a couple of years ago with some upgrades completed, but just not sailing enough.
Comes with two mains, three jibs, carbon boom, and trolley (no trailer). Slight damage shown in photo on the rear deck where the bridle was (inexplicably) attached, since corrected. Needs a bit of love but it's a lovely open cockpit shape. Jib cleats attached for younger sailors.
Open to offers, located in Royal Harwich YC.

General National 12 chat / Northampton Camping
Last post by Thomas - 04 Nov 2022, 04:18If you are planning on camping at Northampton this weekend, please pitch your tent away from the club, they are expecting a big turn out for the fireworks and dont want any tents squashed by cars parking in the dark! They suggest down by the training centre is best.

Beautiful wooden national 12 sailing dinghy. Comes with full rig, all in great condition and 2 tiller extentions. Has a road trailer, launching trolly and winter cover. The decks have recently been stripped to bare wood and had 12 coats of varnish applied for high UV protection. This is a lovely little boat, excellent design by uffa fox and ready to be put in the water and sailed this season. Happy to deliver and can also offer a winter storage deal at my boatyard if needed. Please ring on [hidden information] with any questions.

Glass hull with carbon mast and boom, spare alloy boom. Over cover needs repair at the stern end hence price. Road trailer and trolley. spare sails. quick and great to race. I am to big and my crew is far to big. :-) Hope to find a good home for Squidgy Bits as a little bit of care and she will be back to her best

Can deliver locally if required. Ideal boat for an adult and child. We are relocating so this is priced to sell!

General National 12 chat / Re: Rudder Length / weed
Last post by edwillett - 24 Oct 2022, 03:03I had a very short blade on my Crusader '88 Dave and seemed to work fine. However weed is a problem and I have to regularly clear it and/or sail with it angled aft which is Ok in light winds but no good with any breeze due to weather helm and train on the pintles. Just glad its not a "foiler" blade!
