All - Dinghy Show is this coming weekend and we have 3549, the latest 12 on the stand.

Due to some organisational challenges on my part haven't sorted stand duty for Saturday as yet.  Any volunteers?

Angus has kindly volunteered for the weekend and we have coverage sorted for Sunday.

All - looks like one Crusader (3179) & two Design 8's (3271 & 3320) at this weekend's Bosham Classic Boat Revival (http://classicboatrevival.co.uk/).

Any other AC's, 4 plank or Vintage boats coming to play?

We're on stand C14 at this coming weekend's Dinghy Show and will be displaying 3548 Nick Copsey's Hijack.

Stand rota is pretty informal but please let me know if you could donate an hour of your time whilst there.

We'll also have some of the new class posters, available for anyone who can promote the class at their club.

All -  Having been thoroughly beaten by Mr. Peacock in his vintage boat at last weekends Nationals I've developed a taste for chasing older boats rather than newer ones and wondered if any interest from any Vintage, 4 Plank or AC boats to come along to the Bosham Classic Boat Revival on 4th & 5th Sept?
It's now in it's 5th year, growing and by all accounts a superb event.  Looks like all the other classes are well represented but we're strangely absent as a class.
Age wise they're pretty flexible providing in the spirit of things and are keen to get some 12's along (allowing Indecision in although not meeting age cut off or modern rig).
Hope to see some of you there.

"There are plenty of events that are nice to do but very few that one really SHOULD do... and this is one of them!": an esteemed sailing journalist
"In the four years since its inception, the Bosham Classic Revival has become the benchmark of top-flight classic events": Yachts & Yachting, 2014
The largest event of its kind in the UK, and probably Europe, the Bosham Classic Boat Revival attracts competitors from all over the UK and Ireland with over 60+ entries expected from 20+ classic classes including: Albacore, Brightlingsea One Design, Devon Yawl, Enterprise, Fairey Falcon, Firefly, Fireball, GP14, International 14, International Moth, Jollyboat, Merlin Rocket, National 12's, Chichester & National 18's, Tideways, Scows, Yachting World Dayboat, 12m2 Sharpie, and more.
Many more classic classes are likely to 'qualify' automatically, but we also are happy to consider others in the spirit of tradition, so if you are not sure, please get in touch via [mail=event@ClassicBoatRevival.co.uk]event@ClassicBoatRevival.co.uk[/mail]to check and join this unique event.
The revival comprises five races over two days in Chichester Harbour; lively socials with supper & live music on both Friday & Saturday evenings; event tea and prize giving on Sunday afternoon.
Whilst the racing on the water is hotly contested, the competition to win the coveted Concours d'Elegance is no less so. This year's judges will include yachting journalist, David Henshall, whose encyclopedic knowledge of classic dinghies will qualifies him to cast a keen eye over the assembled woodwork.
Seen as a just reward for countless hours of restoration this trophy has seen some interesting winners over the past years. The Concours d'Elegance 'show' bears testament to the superb craftsmanship of renowned builders such as Jack Chippendale; Bob Hoare; Spud Rowsell; Anderson, Rigden and Perkins; Alec Stone and Malcolm Goodwin... to name but a few who built some of the best racing boats in the 50's, 60s and 70s.
The team behind the Bosham Classic Boat Revival hopes to continue to play a role in revitalising the UK classic dinghy racing scene, and would like to thank the event sponsors Top Yacht, Sims Williams, Haines Boatyard, Harken and Pusser's Rum for their generous support.
Organised by Bosham Sailing Club, more details are available from www.classicboatrevival.co.uk

All,
Prompted by the last thread and healthy discussion on foils again I wondered what the opinion and experience is of putting foils ona Foolish (Meds - yes I know your answer is already just get on with it.....)?  Potentially on the winter project list for refresh of 3441.

All,
With darker winter nights not too far away I wondered if anyone would be interested in joining a N12 group in the forthcoming Volvo Round the World Virtual Regatta?  First race starts 4th Oct and mirrors the real event.  Just found the training event hence this suggestion.
