Nigel Sym bought this hull from Bob Hoare and finished it himself with my assistance.  We sailed it at Rudyard Lake in the early mid 80's.  Nigel built a new Baggy Trousers in 89 so assume he sold her.

Did many Nationals in her and have some pictures I will scan and post later.

I will drag Fuzzy Duck out for a final sail.  I assume you are using you 'phantom' design National 12?

A quick revarnish became a bare wood strip and 5 coats of two pack. Worth the effort? I hope so!

As No Angel is still in bits I will be there in Fuzzy Duck before she goes up for Sale.

Can't decide whether to camp or go for the luxury of the hotel....

Fuzzy Duck will be at Grafham. Just hope the wind is also.

No Angel still 2 coats of varnish required, maybe Northampton, work allowing.

You are quite correct Fuzzy Duck stayed true to her name and kept all the important bits above the water through all 3 (well  2 1/2) races!

Thanks must go to the brave souls who caught the boats running in to the beach as the wind hit 28mph.

Except for Gerry who decided it might smooth the bottom of Otto if he just surfed straight up the beach!  Nice exit!

Now purchased by Simon Hopkins. Will be moving to Essex to join the expanding UP River Yacht Club N12 fleet.
